Skyline Drive is an excellent place to escape the summer heat for some summer camping and off roading. Even in July the temps were in the low 70's for highs. There are many trials to ride in this area including the Arapeen ATV trail. We met family in Ephraim and spent the weekend eating great food and having some great family fun. Each family brought an activity and prepared a meal. The activities started with a treasure hunt on Friday for the kids leading them to a treasure provided by Grandma and Becky. Laura then broke out the paints and did some face painting along with letting the kids paint some rocks. Mike and Laura also did some fishing at Snow Lake. Saturday we did rockets. Mike brought his Estes rocket for some great fun, and we provided the equipment and supplies for compressed air powered paper rockets.The trails in this area are relatively mild because you are on top so riding around is quite mellow and fast until you decrease your elevation into some of the canyons for some more technical climbs. It's definitely worth the trip to ride on the many trails and take in the scenery.
